Jet Ski Service Gold Coast

Jet Ski Service Gold Coast
We service jet skis out of our workshop at Nerang and have been doing it on the Gold Coast for over 20 years. Most skis need a service every 50 hours of use or once a year, whichever lands first. Leave it longer and the small stuff turns into the expensive stuff.
What an annual service covers
Engine oil and filter, spark plugs, fuel system check, cooling and flush lines, impeller and wear ring inspection, battery test, steering and throttle cables, hull and bilge check. We road test every ski before it goes back to you, so it leaves running the way it should.
Servicing by hours, not just the calendar
Hour meters tell the real story. A ski doing 80 hours a season needs more attention than one doing 15. Bring us the hours and we will tell you what is actually due rather than selling you a schedule you do not need.
Every brand, not just the ones we sell
Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki and Honda all come through the workshop. Parts differ, the fundamentals do not. If you are not sure what you have got, send us a photo of the ski and the hour meter.

Salt water is the reason you service it
Riding the Broadwater, the Seaway or anywhere off the Gold Coast means salt sits in the cooling system and on every connection. Flushing after a ride helps and it does not replace a proper service. Corrosion is the single most common thing we find on skis that have been left too long.
What we find on skis that skipped a season
The pattern is always the same. Fuel that has gone off and gummed the injectors, a battery that will not hold charge, seals that dried out and now weep, and corrosion on every connector the salt reached. None of it is dramatic on its own. Together it is the difference between a ski that starts first turn and one that ruins a Saturday.
What you get back
A service report telling you what we did, what we found and what is coming up next. If your wear ring has one more season in it we will say so rather than replacing it today. Knowing what is on the horizon lets you budget for it instead of being surprised by it.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I service my jet ski?
Every 50 hours of use or once a year, whichever comes first. If it has sat unused for a season it still needs a service before you ride it, because fuel goes off and seals dry out.
How much does a jet ski service cost?
It depends on the brand, the hours and what we find once it is open. Send us the make, model and hour reading and we will give you a real number before we start any work.
How long will you have my ski?
A standard annual service is usually a day or two. If we find something that needs parts ordered we will call you before we do anything, not after.
Can you pick it up?
Yes. We pick up and drop off across the Gold Coast and Brisbane from $50, so you do not need a trailer or a tow vehicle.
Do you service skis you did not sell?
Every time. Most of the skis in our workshop were bought somewhere else.
What if you find a bigger problem?
We stop and call you with what it is, what it costs and what happens if you leave it. You decide.
Do I need to flush it myself between services?
Yes, after every ride in salt water. It is the single most useful thing an owner can do and it costs you a few minutes with a hose.
My ski has sat for two years, what does it need?
Assume a full service plus fuel system attention. Old fuel is the usual culprit and it is cheaper to deal with now than after it has been through the injectors.
Do you provide a written report?
Yes. You get what we did, what we found and what is coming up next, so you can plan for it.
